Booking & Payments

How do I book?

Click any Check Availability or Book Direct button on the site. You'll be taken to the GuestDiary booking engine where you can select your dates, number of guests, and confirm your reservation. Booking is instant, you'll receive confirmation by email.

Why book direct?

Booking directly through this site guarantees the best available rate. There is no booking fee and you deal directly with Joe, no third-party platform in between. You can also reach Joe by phone or WhatsApp if you have questions before confirming.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment is handled securely through the GuestDiary booking engine. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Joe does not process payments directly through this website.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 7-day cancellation policy applies to all properties. If you need to cancel or amend a booking, contact Joe directly at info@staydingleway.ie or call +353 87 295 0002.

Check-in & Check-out

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is anytime after 4pm. Check-out is 10am. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, contact Joe in advance, he'll do his best to accommodate where possible.

How do I access the property?

Your location and check-in details are sent to the mobile number on the booking the day before arrival, with self check-in details sent on the morning of arrival. Please provide the mobile number you'll be using while travelling when you book. If you have any issues on arrival, call or WhatsApp Joe directly at +353 87 295 0002.

Is there a minimum stay?

The minimum stay is 2 nights at all properties, depending on the time of year. Occasionally a single night may be released (usually at a premium rate) to fill a gap between two existing bookings.

About the Properties

How many properties are available?

There are 23 properties in total: 16 Stay Dingle Way self-catering holiday homes across Dingle Town, Lispole, and the surrounding Peninsula, plus 4 Dingle Mist en-suite rooms and 3 The Hawthorn Rooms rooms in Dingle. All are hosted by Joe.

What is the maximum occupancy? Can I bring extra guests?

Occupancy is strict. Each property accommodates only the maximum number of guests listed for it, and extra guests are not permitted. If you need space for a larger party, contact Joe about booking more than one property.

Is WiFi included?

Yes, free WiFi is included at all Stay Dingle Way properties. WiFi is also available at The Hawthorn Rooms and Dingle Mist. Check individual property listings for details.

Is there parking?

Most properties offer free private parking. Properties in Dingle Town Centre may have different arrangements, check the individual property listing. The Hawthorn Rooms and Dingle Mist include free on-site parking.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are welcome at the Lispole properties only. All other properties do not allow pets.

Are the properties suitable for children?

No children under 5 at The Hawthorn Rooms or Dingle Mist (a maximum of two guests per room still applies). No children under 12 at Colony Retreat or The Star Inn.

Is linen and towels provided?

Linen and towels are provided at all properties.

Is breakfast included at The Hawthorn Rooms?

There is no hot breakfast at The Hawthorn Rooms or Dingle Mist. A coffee dock with snacks is available to guests throughout their stay.

Location & Getting Here

Where is Dingle?

Dingle (An Daingean) is a coastal town on the Dingle Peninsula in Co. Kerry, in the west of Ireland. It sits on the Wild Atlantic Way and is approximately 3 hours' drive from Dublin, 1.5 hours from Cork, and 45 minutes from Killarney.

How do I get to Dingle?

By car via the N86 from Tralee (30 minutes) or the scenic Conor Pass route. Bus Éireann and Local Link Kerry operate services to Dingle. The nearest train station is Tralee, from which Bus Éireann route 275 runs to Dingle.

Is there public transport nearby?

Lispole properties are served by Local Link Kerry with a bus stop right outside. Dingle Town properties are a short walk from the town bus stop. Contact Joe if you need specific transport advice for your property.
